I have not posted anything for quite some time, been quite uninspired. I feel though, that this may be changing, as things in my life changing at a rapid pace. I am now a father. I didn't think this was going to be a possibility for my wife and I, but we were given an opportunity to adopt a newborn baby girl. She turned one month old yesterday, and we have had her since she was two days old. I have so much to learn. It may still be a while before I post anything, but I am going to be play around with some antique film cameras that were given to me. Hopefully they will work well. Should be fun nonetheless.

As many of you DFW area deviants are aware, on Tuesday, June 1, we had quite the storm, knocking out power to over 500,000 homes. I got word today that the street I live on will be without power until, and I quote, "Sometime Next Week". Might I just say, AARRRRGGGGHH! Still no word on how they might be willing to compensate for our newfound pain in the butt. Still going to Austin this weekend, maybe they will have power down there. I plan on going to Chuy's and slamming a few 'Ritas if they do.
